Salsa for Cancer patients

Salsa classes for women with cancer - Enhanced self-esteem and quality of life through dance.

Health Center for Cancer Patients and Quality Living is cooperating to enhance joy of life.

This is a free of charge rehabilitation offer for women who have been diagnosed with cancer. The message is that it isn’t enough to just focus on the physical aspects of the disease.

In the words of one of the participants; "Where else can you go to rehabilitate you joy of life?"

The course focuses on Salsa, steps, play, bodily consciousness, self-worth, quality of life - and finding that renewed feeling of feminine pride.

The course is about using your senses. Getting away from "the mind" and into the body, letting go and live in the moment, allowing you to forget the disease for a while. We create a sacred space where we experience being in flow with ourselves and the dance.
